Veterinary Surgeon – Kingswinford
We are looking for a fourth veterinary surgeon who is a dynamic, enthusiastic pet and people person, with a passion for ensuring that pets receive quality, affordable healthcare with a Fear Free centred approach.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of an almost 3-year-old, purpose-built clinic, delivering the care that pets would choose as part of a rapidly growing group of independent, family-owned practices.
You will be working alongside a very experienced Clinic Director plus two other vets and a team of 5 RVN’s, 2 VCA’s and 4 FTE front of house Care Co-ordinators. Experience of 4 + years is preferred, and it helps if you have a cracking sense of humour and would enjoy CPD trips overseas to Nice/Monaco and Florida.
- 4 days per week 08.45am – 7pm
- Days have a mix of consulting and theatre slots, with daily administration time factored in. Our consults are 15 minutes long.
- 1:4 Saturday morning 08.30-1pm (increases as clinic and vet team continue to grow)
- No OOH
- 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (Good Friday worked but day in lieu given)

FEAR FREE
We understand that pets are part of the family, so as standard our teams are accredited ‘Fear Free’ professionals who can prevent and alleviate potential fear and stress experienced by your pets during their visit. To achieve this, amongst many other things, our ward areas have classical music playing and softer lighting than that of clinical areas, plus stress-relieving pheromone plug ins are used throughout our wards and wider clinic.
We understand the differing needs of species and as such our cat wards have individual hideaway units so that they may feel more secure, weighing scales are covered with fake grass to be more appealing to our canine patients, and we obviously use an abundance of delicious and distracting treats to distract to make the journey as stress free as possible for all.
